Serenity

I find myself in awe of the Hudson River School artists of the mid to late 19th century. The vast, luminous landscapes these artists painted really capture the emotions of the scene. I felt moved to create a piece in this style one evening as I stood and walked around Mile Rock Beach in San Francisco.

This seascape oil painting was painted on a 12×16 acid-free, triple-primed cotton canvas.
