Luminescence

I visited Lumahai during the day and it was mostly cloudy, with occasional sun rays bursting through. As I took videos/photos of the location, I began to think that the area would serve as a good subject for a nocturne painting. I envisioned the moon bright in sky, showering highlights down onto the water and foam patterns below. I just needed to decide if I wanted a wave to be crashing to shore, or if I wanted the water to be more peaceful – seems when in doubt I usually pick a crashing wave lol!

Luminescence – I visited Lumahai during the day and it was mostly cloudy, with occasional sun rays bursting through. As I took videos/photos of the location, I began to think that the area would serve as a good subject for a nocturne painting.
